Default Automatic Boot Release

I have an MY00 UK and I had read that after disarming the alarm and pressing the disarm button again within 3 seconds the boot would unlock. I tried this and found that this did not work, so I approached my Honda garage. They said that it was an optional extra on the alarm, that could be fitted for

The boot release does work - but it takes a nack!! hit the button again JUST after the indicator lights go out and hold it down

They rae saying a bit of there. I am having mine sorted, as apparently some of the MY00's didn't have it wired up for shipping. If the car has any kind of warranty on it they should do this for you FOC.

Or filt a Clifford Alarm and get the boot release on a dedicated button...sooo easy
