He has blown second gear but that was hooking with 700hp at the track after a couple years being over 500whp beating on it using a 6 puck act, that must shock the rear end alot.As glender the pussy cat says over 550whp is a expensive game and not needed for the road .And any part of the drive train can go even na but you can help by preloading the rear using the handbrake.

so i wont be able to run big torque figues low down the rev band because something will break?

i will be replacing the driveshaft, drivechain, clutch and having a gearbox build

The general feeling is i will be able to achieve 600bhp at the flywheel? after that i will have to start replacing a whole lot more of the car?

If your going 600 fw then use stock engine and just put the minimum parts needed then with the change out your budget upgrade the drivetrain ,or take your chance with stock drivetrain as said earlier there's a few running around them numbers with stock g box diff etc

All depends on your tyres just remember over 350wtq in second it can blow then it's a jump to 800hp plus to kill 4 gear. But saying that if you have a 6 puck, spin in first, snatch second as little as 400hp will break second.

the point is i want to either rebuild my engine compeltely and go for a turbo that will run about 500-600 at the fly wheel.

or do the same with a v8.....

(budget for engine work 14K

I will then invest more more money on, gearbox, cluth, driveshaft the general drive train etc

so a V8 is doable then!
