Lee how do you actually control the boost. Is it simply adjusting at what point the waste gate opens?

when i want more power i can get a new tune and turn the boost up.

I have spend 1000's on things like hondata Kpro ECU, Hondata traction controll, HKS exhaust etc etc which would all need to go if i went for a V8.

I have spent 1000's on the breaks, bushes, chassis and suspension so the car is almost ready for big power.

I would need a compelte different drivetrain to go v8, gearbox etc etc etc stright away where as if i went turbo i can look into things like gearbox build, driveshaft etc when the time comes.

I have lots of engine parts that i have bought for running boost, the solenoid, the tial BOV etc etc which is all new. all this would be watsed if went V8 and wouldnt be able to sell for very much at all.

thoguhts?

Whilst I am a little disappointed with this decision I am also greatly relieved, as far as I’m aware there was only 1 Ls1 S2000 in the uk until he wrote it off, I’d like to assume that title for myself
I have purchased from Luke (guy from tegiwa) the parts needed to do the v8 swap, I have everything bar the engine, gearbox and wiring loom.

Currently on course for dropping the F20c out early September and selling it (already got a buyer) and with cash in hand I’ll nip down to a monaro breaker in Birmingham to buy the remaining parts.

I’ve subscribed to your thread out of interest and just in case you change your mind about the v8.
I’ll write my own thread up when I start the swap and I’d appreciate any comments, tips or even constructive criticism.

Good luck with your build!
