There was a guide on the US for the stock tips, seemed to be hit and miss due to how they were made.

Im guessing THIS is the exhaust? It looks very similar.

That is not correct, heating the steel causes an oxide layer to form and the colour is due to light reflection / refraction in that layer

the different colours are due to light be refracted more or less by varying thickness of the oxide layer.
