Default Boot Leak

Hello Chaps

I noticed some damp in my boot last week and have taken the lining out completely to see if I can spot it.

After drying the area off to see if I can find the source, and then tipping water over the area where the damp was, I can see drips hitting the wheel arch [where i have highlighted]

It isn't coming from the fuel line at all. I have triple checked that

I cant see where it is coming in as there is a skin/support structure in the way so I cant get my hands in to feel for moisture.

Has anybody experienced this before and could point me in the right direction of how to fix it?

remove all rear boot interior, put a towel in the bottom, leave it like this: more practical as more space, looks better, and easier to dry out

oh yeah, and because racecar

I have the same problem.
The water is likely to be coming from under the removable rectangular plastic flaps just next to the boot lid. they edge under the rubber trim that hold the soft top in place.
If you remove it, just look under it for signs of rust as the body work just behind the boot lid is spot welded to the rear 1/4 panel just there.

Best of Luck!
