Bourbon's S6000
Wow.
I had no idea it'd be that loud!
I'm getting kicked out for sure!
Ok, so.
Videos will be posted within the hour but on the understanding that there is ZERO MENTIONING OF IT ON FACEBOOK!
I'm trusting you guys on this
There have been several issues throughout the day, some of them omex's fault, some of them mine.
Trigger pattern is the 24 type but I was supplied with 60-2 calibration
I had to TAKE APART THE ECU to remove two jumpers from the circuit board
Ls2 and ls3 cam sensors are wired back to front
Omex potted the TPS the wrong way round
Several tweeks on settings were needed
All this and the best we could get was one pop
Then I took a step back and picked up on something.
Initially I draped the harness over the engine and a lot of things lined up so I started plugging away.
Omex designed the harness to "enter the engine from the front left corner"
Where as I'd connected it "from the rear right"
Basically all the injectors and coils were mounted 180 to their supposed positions.
I consider myself very lucky that nothing was damaged during this period of trying to start it but but I'm a bit disappointed that I picked up on this and not omex who I'd sent a running log to, surely they'd have seen that everything was trying to fire when it shouldn't?
Anyway a few hours later and it was rewired and ready for test!!
Upon running we found that it was very loud!
Throttle is very sticky from closed position.
Top coolant pipe leaks.
Don't think the speedo works, forgot to check eps.
Rpm does work thank god
Oil pressure gauge doesn't display anything meaningful, probably not compatible with the GM oil pressure gauge.
The A/F gauge needs it's settings changed to display the lambda ratio not A/F.
Weird sound coming from intake area, interested to know people thoughts on this? Soul crew?
Think that's it?
Oh, it sounds orgasmic when blipped!

Good stuff!
Throttle is very sticky from closed position - have you calibrated the TPS 0% and 100% etc? setup sensor TPS basic cant remember.
Oil pressure gauge doesn't display anything meaningful, probably not compatible with the GM oil pressure gauge - sometime there is a table and needs asigned to a channel with x voltage = say 0psi
The A/F gauge needs it's settings changed to display the lambda ratio not A/F why lambda AF is more meanigful?
Weird sound coming from intake area, interested to know people thoughts on this? Soul crew? - resonance or just intake hum?

Intake sound is rather screechy, might be able to hear it on the videos
Sticky throttle is because I've not got the cable set up right and the cam could do with some modification, problem is mechanical not electrical
The oil pressure gauge is non standard and appears to have no way of adjusting settings, just wired it to the pressure sensor and hoped for the best, I'll get an aftermarket pressure sensor and put it into the port for it in the sump.
I'll look into the A/f lambda thing
