It'll be an actuator fault of some sort although I don't recall seeing any when stripping my old car.
may not have been one,i believe it may have been fitted by the previous owner to remotely lock both doors for the aftermarket alarm system fitted in mine.You possibly may have the factory fob and alarm.
Would that make sense?


edit;fuse 26 is good with the multimeter

i had 12v running to the actuator when I pressed arm so the problem wasnt power/fuse related and had to be the actuator.


so I had to pick up a two door actuator in maplin for 14 euro.not so bad.



disconnected the battery and hard wired the new actuator in


remote locks perfectly again
