Now that's beginning to look something like it should look.

Nice work.

Wow, amazing stuff.

In the first pic it looks like you are preparing to add a circular saw blade to the hub, Ben Hur style!

Great work it makes me feel like I did the bare minimum on my suspension overhaul! I wish I had the time, facilities and skills to do this.

I hate being upside down under car, just gave up for the day raging headache as i have started to remove rust.

Well good news on the off aide rear underneath, also rust has been surface with no pitting of significance and certainly no perforation. The only pitting is on the curved part of the chassis rail towards the front of the wheel arch , even this has cleaned off well. So this side is now mostly ready for degreasing , preparation, and POR15.

The bad news is i think i need to remove the petrol Tank and do a bit of work on that, I can see why Lovegroova had his tank perforate now, lots of rust around the middle joint/seam. So i need to deal with this. Mr Honda failed again , they sprayed the bottom of the tank with under-seal the rest is not much more than primer

More bad news, also found a really badly rusted bit of brake pipe( So much for MOT, but it would have been tricky to see with the subframe in the way) so I will have to sort out a new piece for this, will have to speak to my son and see if he has or can bring a flaring tool home from work, bend up and replace a small section from the centre of the car out to where the hose joins. Again if Mr Honda had only used copper pipe or continued the plastic outer all the way to the point where the pipes enter the plastic duct this would never happen, but i suppose that's what you get with cost engineering.

Tell me; should I keep up this diatribe of info and reports ?
