Engine Check Light
I was out driving yeterday, towards the end of one of my trips I was in traffic and as the car came to a stop, about 5 times the engine idle virtually disapeared off the rev counter.
Anyway I leave the car for about 5 hours and then started it again and the engine check light came on - stupidly I did not have the instruction book with me so I called honda assistance who basically said there had been a fault which needs checking at the dealers but the car was ok to drive carefully.
As I was heading back the car would cough a little a low speeds but as the speed increased to about 50 ish the engine would cough quite alot and be quite jerky.
Just so you techy people know - the oil was fine (maybe a tad low but not a prob). I had just filled up after going to 2 bars and the fuel light coming on about 5 mins before I filled up - however not with the usual optimax - the esso super unleaded stuff. Could it be gunk in the petrol tank going into the engine?
Car will be going to the stealer this week but if anyone has any ideas I would appreciate it.
Thanks

I have just heard back from the garage and silver you were right it is the throttle response sender which is being changed under warranty which is a result.
They are also changing the air con radiator thing behind the front grill were the lower vein/layer had come away - also under warranty.
Only problem is I dont get her back until Monday
