Ah...I'm with you now! All makes sense now

If it's just drilling another hole in the bracket then that doesn't bother me too much.

Cheers,

Dave

I modified the internals but yes, was too long out of the box. That was back end of last year I bought mine

I fitted an Ingalls Stiffy ETD straight from the box (distributors were Funky Power). Didn't think it made much difference though

Does it not stop the engine rocking under load?

Not worried about what they claim to do for gear changes and all that nonsense...just looking for something to stop my manifold from touching steering rack when under load.

Cheers,

Dave

Ingalls is by far the best design, you can see they have really thought about how they can mount it. You can adjust the stiffness, mines been great ive done 5 trackdays on it and its taken some abuse on the road and it still works fine

As Mark says, the Ingalls is a better design owing to its mounting. With the Tegiwa, you'll have to cut a hole in your heat shield (if you've still got it in place). Both ETDs perform the same job and there isn't really any difference in that respect; the only big difference is in the price!

fitted a stiffy, 10 minute job, no need to cut/shorten/adjust anything, just fits out of the box, it does make a difference to the engine rocking...
oh, and i had to fit one to stop the PLM manifold rubbing on the steering column.

Cheers,

You need allen keys for assembly, best to have allen key sockets and you can use an extension to tighten the securing bolts for the brackets.

Cheers, got a set of Allen head sockets as nearly all the bolts on my old Westfield were Allen heads!
