I knew this was gonna happen... seventy miles from home and only keys to house are locked in boot with car keys, so easily done too!

Left a customer's office, unlocked car with remote and go to put briefcase in boot when phone goes and end up throwing everything in there while i take some notes before finishing convo, taking jacket off and laying over my keys (also on the boot floor) and shutting lid while in the meantime the car has auto relocked the cabin as i did'nt open any of the doors!!!

Best thing is i had a Honda which had this "feature" some time ago and managed 120k miles without managing it and one month back with them and bingo!

Honda Care Assistance where top notch though, had AA there within 20 mins and very patient patrollman with an array of car aerials and wires eventually got me in by hooking the door lock lever... phew!!

 

Took me over a year before I did the same ,nothing quiet like standing in a carpark in the middle of Feb in just your shirt sleaves for a couple of hours to teach me not to do it again

 

That's cos you were playing at being "shopping bitch" that night James rather than doing manly things like wrestling rhinos.

 

Done the 'same' thing a long time go, but not in the S !!
