Think it's more like 5 yrs isn't it? and it's a Honda one

Anyway, charged for an hour and put it back in and all was fine so managed to have an hour or so in the sun. Have left it back on charge overnight to top it up properly..

The cigarette lighter thing will only work if the lighters are powered all the time, and Hondas only power with the iginition AFAIK.

I don't think I've ever seen this much drama over a dead battery before

I had the ignition on with the cig lighter thing....

Drama - I was seething after jinxing myself with the other nice weather thread!

I had the same thing today.

Reversed the car out of the garaged and washed it, with the radio on for the last 20 minutes.

Then went to "nip to she shops", "I'm sure we need something dear", and nothing.

The alarm had been giving a few tell tale symptoms recently and ths just confirmed it's on it's last legs as it comes up to it's 5th birthday.

We'll be getting a new one this week!
