'09 = 2009 registered in the first half of the year so 2008/9 manufacture and defiantly facelift.

Was just curious. Since only the North American cars seem to have that flurry of VIN tags on all the body panels there's no penalty fitting a completely new bumper cover to the car and avoiding having to paint it. These are sold in OEM paint (here) which is nice.
