How to Remove Paint flecks from the car!
I inadvertantly parked my car near where someone was painting the outside of there house with what I can assume must have been some form of paint spray system....I didn't notice at first but it looks like some of the paint has been caught in the wind and landed on my car, there isnt much but a few spots on the roof and on the bodywork....does anybody know a good way of getting this off without damaging the car paint work? a quick search suggests tar remover any other thoughts? advice very gratefully received to cure my currently slightly spotty car.

When i did this with some masonry paint i ended up using my finger nail to take the paint spots off after giving the car a thorough wash.
Can't comment on the hood though.
Oh and i might add i was just painting the stucco with a normal paintbrush and there were still drops coming off it and the car was 15 feet away.

I had the same problem when my idiot neighbour painted her house number on her designated parking spaces because, although she hasn't got a car and doesn't need to worry about the spaces being taken when her friends come to visit, because she's too damned unpleasant to have any, she still enforces a zero tolerance no parking policy. Even the postie gets a sarcastic note on his handle bars if he leaves his bike there too long.
Anyway, she numbered the spaces with a spray can of proper road marking paint.... in the wind. I got back from a fortnight's holiday to find both my wife's and my own car peppered with the stuff, well and trully baked on.
My recipe for restoration:
Finger nail, T Cut scratch remover, wash, clay, wax & wax again.
I didn't have an S2000 at the time, so can't comment on how to remove paint from the roof fabric though.....
