I'm Tempted To Return
Evening
I sold my second S just over 6 months ago now, I don't regret selling it at all as my BMW is a much better everyday prospect and is an absolutely fantastic car.
However I am now in the market for a £4 - £7k fun car.
Top of my list is a DC2 but for a touch more I could have an S2000 again similar to my 2001 car.
Actually the real reason is that the one I sold back in 2008 maybe back up for sale again
Funny that after 2 S2000's I'm seriously considering another (or one I owned previously
)
That has never happened to me with a car before!!
For an occasional use car, and fun how does the DC2 stack up against the S2000?

and its rear wheel drive, thats way more fun than front wheel drive. I loved my civic R and my brothers old dc2 integra R and his newer dc5 is awesome, but if its just for the weekend and summer months, you gotta go 2 seats, no roof rear wheel drive! And you know how good it was already
The DC2 is an awesome car.
Great to drive, great performance, dirt cheap to run/keep OTR and bulletproof build quality. And in its day, it did look the part (although now it does look a bit dated).
But the problem you will have is that it really is a sports car for dummies. You can drive it as hard as you like and it is just so forgiving.
It's horses for courses really, and depends on how you define fun. I loved my Teg to bits, but I don't regret upgrading to an S, which despit being more of a handful is more rewarding when you get it right.
The Teg by comparison feels a bit track-day-by-numbers. But it is still a great car.
Take one for a spin and see what you think.
