Default Lights on warning

Hi

The "eeeeeee" noise to remind you that you'veeft the lights on has recently started to fail, occasionally it works fine, however other times it doesn't sound at all.

Has anyone else experienced this or is there a remedy?

It's a 2009 car.

Thanks

It might be that the door switch is becoming sticky. Next time it doesn't work, see if the little plunger switch on the door jam is stuck in.

Mine's never worked. I think of it as a feature.

I agree, it can be annoying although my girlfriend drove it to work last week which resulted in a flat battery and an AA call out!

Quick way to check is look at your interior light when it's not doing it

Very quick fix, one bolt and done wd40 on the door switch
