Lowering the standard seat

I did a little bit of this (mainly the rear). But I didn't want to be re-welding nuts, and definitely didn't want to rely on JB Weld for a safety related part, which your seat is.

Do the BYS Seat rails have any effect on safety in a crash? Not that i'm trying to crash lol just curious.
