I'm easy to outbrake on trackdays - this means I am able to drive lots more rather than being stranded in the pits with broken discs...

Just make sure you don't take any speaker advice from Simon, he will get you to add amps and a woofer in the boot

They are "needed"

Besides, playing Guns 'n' Roses whilst out on track would make me a lot faster than any silly modifications...

Interesting read Bharat, but a bit fiddly for my liking. I do think real Ivtec is very clever though.

Well the J's manifold arrived today, excellent service from Sumo Power

I've damaged my spanner arm (feels like a cracked bone!) so I won't be fitting until next week

J's Racing

Looks good - lets hope its more go than show

I think 65mm, but will measure it later this week

Ok my brake dilemma is resolved after a lot of thinking and head scratching...

I went with Dixcel stuff and should be here later this week. The full set was well under half the price of a front big brake conversion. The thing that swung it was that most of the guys doing racing aren't using BBKs. And if they don't, I certainly don't I can awlays change my mind later too.

FCR SD front
FCR Plain disk rear
R01 Race pad front
R01 race pad rear
Do Dixcel to two piece discs for the S?
