Nope.

But they know better than I. And if they say they aren't suited, there is possibly some other reason.

Dembo runs the slotted discs, but I think with the Z pads up front?

I have plain discs all round. Slots are for those with all the gear and no idea

Just had a search, and it seems that most have had slotted front discs and Type Z pads, with plain rear discs and the R-01 pads.

Maybe Dixon's being doing some research?

Why is everyone getting so obsessed with two piece discs all of a sudden anyway :suprised: , you don't need them the dixcels will be good enough
They are normally lighter, tend to warp less and cheaper to replace rotors?

Seems to me that the initial outlay will pay for itself in the long run?

I may of course be talking rubbish

That is the bonus of 2 piece. I think the heat won't got transferred into the hubs / hats so much either.

Right onto something else...

I have (or am about to!) aquire a J's racing CF intake. I'm not fussed about hacking the underneath of the bonnet to fit it, but I also have the option of the J's CF bonnet.

I can't decide if the bonnet is a bit OTT though? It does look great, and is much lighter, but not sure if i'd feel uncomfortable driving with it. While the S is going to be a track based car, I do still need to drive it around / in public, and it's quite stealthy as it is in moonrock

I'ts prob not that more OTT than the bonnet on the Evo, but the difference is that it was designed to have it.

Also, it's CF so will blend in a bit more. But presume it could also be painted Moonrock?

Opinions?

Suppose I could just take it on and off before going to a trackday
