MY04+ ECU in a MY00
I note over in the US forums that some have experimented with MY02 ECU in the earlier MY00-01 cars and gained in the mid range. It also seems that the MY04 + cars dyno higher than the earlier cars.
Some claim that the later ECU's received timing tweaks that could benefit the early cars.
Has anyone tried an ECU swap and lived to tell the tale?
Cheers

I cant see the point TBH, IIRC in later years the fueling was leaned out 'slightly' more noticably at the very top end of the rev range - i cant see the minute gains giving anything to 'write home about'.
After trial and error, save money in the long run and get your car custom mapped to your car+mods is the way to go.
