Default Off to Le Mans Classic

I'm off to Le Mans Classic on Wednesday and almost overlooked the issue of headlamps.

Can I easily adjust the headlamps or would anyone care to suggest an appropriate beam converter for the S.

No need to change S2000 headlights in europe. The HID design means that the cut-off is not a problem. I've driven alot at night over there with no issues. Just press the mph/kph button & enjoy the, relatively, open roads

I think this has been covered before, the answer being that the beams are not "sided" so don't need converting for the continent. If you check your beam throw against a garage door, or a wall, you'll see it does not kick up at the nearside, it is flat. Hence no issue with dazzling oncoming traffic approaching you on your nearside in France.

agree about the lights

but might be worth mentioning that I read today that from 1/7 this year you need to carry a flourescent jacket IN the car

90euro fine if you emerge from the car not wearing it following a breakdown apparently

entente cordiale here we come

Have fun

I might be there, but it will be a very last minute decision on Thursday night whether I go or not.

I'm going on Thursday, as well. I've taken a couple of trips through France with no headlight issues. Good advice about high vis jacket, we had to have them in Spain last year as well.

True - just got back from France and there were signs on the Peage saying about jackets.

Fortunately we didn't breakdown, I'll have a jacket for next time.

I believe you need a jacket for each occupant of the vehicle too
