powerflow exhausts
Has anyone on here had any experience with these exhausts, I am after a replacement st st exhaust that will hopefully sound better than the stock system but do not want a loud system that's going to drive me mad on a long run. I am being offered a system from the cat back only, my car is 16yrs old with 90k on the clock, 1 owner, I am getting a rattle from the exhaust system which sounds like a baffle is loose which is why I have decided to change the system, but I am unsure as to the need of changing the cat or anything in front of that, any thoughts

Would not go non Oem,not unless your going high end replacement, for noise/drone reasons.<powerflow is not high end>
Suggest find the rattle as prob the Cat, and if so may ruin your sensor if not fixed.
And as above uk mod,if its your silencer gone get a good second hand one with low prices out there.
^^Thats my next upgrade the uk mod,got the 25mm pipe just need to weld it on ect.,
A Mugen is a little expensive for me.<high end>

You can get a well made custom cheaper than many aftermarkets and better, find someone with a reputation
I had one made locally and I'm well chuffed with it

Cat heat shield or maybe even the cat. Powerflow in general are not amazingly made in my opinion. I've had a few made in the past and they use a standard pipe bender so you'll have inconsistent diameter pipework and they also use a MIG welded rather than a TIG. Now technically there's nothing wrong with MIG but after seeing the quality you can get out there for similar price i would not considered powerflow.
