Jim, i’ll say everything has been done at least twice! The engine starts creating a bit too much ’noise’ at the red line so its limited at 8800. I can’t get into photobucket right now to show you the graph but i think it was 16.7psi at peak power and yes thats Wheel horse power, you can Axle power HP in the dyno pic I’ve already posted.

whats your setup doing now? still working with the big old vortech unit?
Like it Raz, good work!

Lots of changes for me. I went over the the states for a while in 2015 so return home with a suitcase full off goodies. The car now has a new N1200 blower upgrade and Meth.

Intake manifold is standard, but exhaust manifold is a chopped up & modified DMS unit, decat & Tanabe exhaust. Engine is standard other than air pump delete and oil cooler. It's got a TB on it aswell and a cold feed to be CT ice box. Now just added Water/Meth to see how that goes.

I need to upgrade my head aswell, it's on the list but just hasn't been done yet. Glad your having a go on your own

I'm at around 400whp, 19psi at 9100 so not flowing as much as yours.

I did a Nurburgring trackday last summer and the car was awesome. Only thing that passed me was a 675LT at about 200mph+ B2G ...

(I went out when it was quiet )

I have soo many questions Jim!

First and foremost please say you have got a video to share of your ring trip, I’d love to take mine there one year. Watching another supercharged beast go round there would be most pleasing

We found that a really free flowing exhaust, ported inlet, matched throttle body dropped a couple psi off what the map sensor sees. Meth is really the way forward, sadly MSA specs don’t allow even water injection so thats out for any competitive use.

Even with my huge intercooler (which is really well sealed in to get maximum air through it) i see rises in IATs, my temp calibration is quite aggressive and on the dyno we saw max IATs of around 50c and resultant losses down to around 410whp. Losing 20 unicorns is never cool. To combat this my next step is to make an airbox and guide air directly onto the air filter from either the bonnet or the wing in an attempt to keep the IAT lower.

Did you move your temp sensor out of the inlet manifold? What is your meth setup ?

Cool air is taken from both side bumper vents and piped to my air box.

At the Ring ambient temps were 30'c, my AIT's hit 65'c. Closed throttle I saw 70'c because of the location of the sensor.

I've bought an AEM temperature sensor to fit into my aftercooler but now I'm installing meth I don't want to move the sensor as I want it to be located after the spray nozzle... so I can see the effect of the meth.

Didn't get any incar videos, I am on Youtube on a tourist day though.

Regarding boost pressure/ flow I saw more performance from my 60/50mm dual than I did my DMS 76mm system. I would like a new intake manifold but don't fancy the expense at the mo.

Meth kit is an AEM 30-3300

also fitted Ohlins, spoon BGW, rear diffuser, Amuse front end, recaros and other general shit I can't remember.... oh yeah and a full re-spray

piccy for ya

It would look even better on the apex

I ditched the DMS system ages ago, I sold to some paedo! What was his name again?

jokes aside I've got a full manifold and system made by Nortech! Beautiful but very heavy with 4 silencers and a resonator!

/\ that was the tourist weekend after the trackday.

The Mrs felt sick by the time we got to the carousel , so I had to mince around the latter part.

S2Ki peado is enough, Chinese kid. I bet he's got a 76mm pipe now

I’ve never actually measured it but I’ve been told it's definitely above average

Looks like it's off an 18 wheeler!

Good though if it lowered your boost pressure by 2psi

What's the plan next?
