Over 11 year's of ownership and all I can think of is how gay body kit's, onboard pc,s and turbo kit's have added additional weight to the car.

So what weight can these cars get down to,plus what does the end result look like :-).

-Buddy Club Seats -35lb
-Spoon light weight battery -15lb
-Wilwood 4pot brake kit -22lb
-Mugen Wheels -16lbs
-Nitron Suspension -22lbs
-J's Bonnet -8lbs

One of ASM's S2000 weighs even less. It was around 960 kg a few years ago, it is lighter now.

Some of the other JDM race and Time Attack S2000 are probably even lighter.

Are we talking about full on race cars or cars that can be driven on the road but still look like race cars or just lighter road going cars that still have luxuries attached?

I'm in the process of looking at what i've saved with mine (which would be the "slightly lighter" than standard car) but tbh its not much as it has gained weight with certain mods (Amuse front bumper, Project Mu 4 pots, 2 gauges, heated seats and component speakers). Id hate to think of how much serious weight savings with dry carbon would be

Grip fab in ireland built a mental light one for a drift car, was sold before it was finished but the prep work, cage etc was all finished, they were expecting a final weight between 8-900 kgs and that included a v6 turbo.

MBs car is around 1050kg ... I'm around 1130kg and my car weighs about the same!
