another point in this -- how many unmarked st's are there ? i got ' bated ' by one a while ago... and seem to spot many on the m25 - new plod car of choice ??? driven by plod with a bully attitude ???
Well I did watch them cane it along this lane here:

Then cut into a busy line of traffic, which is why I initially thought it was just someone in a Focus tailgating me for fun, rather than a sensible traffic plod.

Do they (the police) have evidence to back any of this up?... actually do they need evidence these days!!!!!!?
Unfortunately with the sec 59 offence all they need is someone willing to make a statement and go to court if necessary, this includes the public and officers I have had a couple of friends receive sec 59's because they have been reported by members of the public for 'anti-social' driving behaviour, i'm 25 and so are most of my mates and they drive cars worth way too much for driving 'anti-socially' I think it is a bit out of hand and can too easily become vindicative.

Feel for you man

I had this happen in my civic a few times, I have lived in Hants all my life and know almost all the unmarked cars by plate now but they also have a scooby which doesn't come out very much and was up my backside and when I pulled into the inner lane stayed sat behind me which was annoying.

Welcome to Josef Brown's Britain, comrade. It's liek PC Savage all over again.

Mind you, they're soo tied up with touchy-feely red tape, they couldn't solve a real crime like a stabbing in the middle of the Hendon training centre.

Did hear on one case where plod's bully-boy tactics backfired; they started s.59-style driving up the arse of this woman, and the dozy bint panicked & slammed on the brakes. They had to drop the charges against her after the impact...

I could have done that last night. I'll consider it if there is ever a "next time".

Sorry to hear this Scott.

We've had a couple of cars round here be taken away under S59 - one of them a CTR and I can confirm he definitely drives like a c0ck having witnessed it and been a victim of his tailgating on the M62. Complained about him a couple of times on here before.

His vehicle was taken off him due to driving up and down Cleethorpes sea front revving his enginge and wheel spinning out of a junction near a busy pub which you'll know Scott having witnessed all the chavved up Fiestas / Saxos doing it there

But this:

PCSO Oakley, of Cleethorpes South, said: "A section 59 is an Asbo for a vehicle. It is given out to cars for playing loud music, wheel-spins and hand-brake turns."
WTF are they stopping me for??
