Is silver really slower, and did the 04 go soft?

Update:

Drove the 04 all last week, then mine for 300 miles this weekend.

The MY00 is more fun on a country road thrash. yes I'm going slower and the back end jumps around, but it's a much much more exciting car to drive. Turn in is so much sharper on the older car too.

The MY04 seems almost too refined to be an S2000 in comparison.

So the upshot is, I can't decide which one to keep and which one to sell, so I will sell the first one that gets a buyer.
