Spraying front bumper
I assume the car has had the same bumper for 11 years so its accumulated a fair few stone ships and today I got told by a friend at work someone left a trolley on an incline and it went straight into the car
How much should I pay for a respray on the front bumper on average ?

A piece of advise. Make sure they spray the front bumper whilst it's still on the car. This will make it easier for them to get a decent colour match, and makes sure the paint is under the correct tension when it's on the car.
I had a bumper sprayed whilst off the car, and not long after having it fitted cracks started to appear, which I suspect were caused by the bumper being held in place under tension whilst on the car.
Regarding costs, it's hard to say. Find a handful of local bodyshops and try to see their work and their setup. If you can find some examples of their work and some personal recommendations then go with them.

They are at ~£500
I had four bumpers sprayed on my various S's to get rid of stone chips all ~£250.
No problem with colour match (took the HID washers for them to check against)
No problems with cracking.
I got the HID washers and badge holes removed on several of them.
My current car has venture shield on the bumper, bonnet & wings.
I hated the stuff before I got it but love it now, not a single chip on the whole front end in 20k miles of back road hoons

I can't imagine they'll struggle to colour match a Berlina Black. Mine cost £180 for a respray, but it was mate rates.
To answer your question with another question, why should you pay at all? Get the tosser that left the trolley on the incline to pay. Or does your friend not know who it was?
