Has anyone had the bolts stripped-out and greased?

Or if not, does anyone have an idea how long it will take? Am interested in prevention, but want to get an idea of cost first. Re: alignment, I've a friendly garage that'll do full-geometry for

Pie N Chips has just installed some and will be at the Northern Alignement meet on 01/04/06 with them. There was some discussion about whether they would have the same properties as the Honda ones and if they didn't how would that affect suspension performance
Correction, Pie n Chips is still waiting for his polybushes to be installed

edit - and may not be at the allignment meet after all - Mikey i'll keep you posted mate

Jackson's Ford in Henley-in-Arden. Franchised but family-owned Ford dealer, nice people. Service manager is the son, ex-Jaguar, rather into his cars. They've a Hunter full-geometry machine - reads camber, caster and toe to within a minute of arc.

Think they're trying to recoup the investment in the machine by offering it at a sensible price to customers. I take my Focus there, and have asked nicely if they'll put the S on there to check it over - told no problem, just need to book it in.

I greased my own bolts and then took it to the local honda garage for them to do the geo. Also asked them to grease the bolts after they had finished on the outside to keep the corrosion away. I did all 4 corners in an afternoon i think it was about 2.5 hours a side that was with some help from a mate. Be careful when you drive it home though it was a bit weird to say the least. Spun the car 180 degrees in a car park so do be careful. Do not drive it more than you have to. I drove it striaght to the dealer the next day for the geo. dealer garaged me

I removed, cleaned and greased mine in an afternoon. Only two lower
fronts were seized - got these replaced under warranty, complete new arms/bushes both sides.
I think parts alone was about
