Default Thank you and farewell

A quick post to thank this forum for the wealth of knowledge the users share and I have an immense amount of respect to the regular contributors for sharing their experiences and for the guidance to newbies like me.

After a short length of ownership with the s2000 I have agreed a deal and it will be going on Sunday, therefore my last outing will be silverstone classics (see you guys fri/sat).

I have enjoyed the car loads and this was my first s2k and my first convertible so really memorable but I have now bought a new car and hence this is going in px.

I am sad to be leaving this community but excited with what the new car has in store as it's a BMW Alpina B3 bi turbo convertible and cannot wait to enjoy the drive of it properly rather then just test drive. On paper the specs are fantastic and I have always wanted an alpina and the deal was right for it to happen.

Anyways rather then ramble once again a massive thank you to all especially Aquilaeagle, minvo and various others who have helped me directly to enjoy the s2k.

Touched. Cheers for the thank you.
Enjoy the new beast! (hopefully the S will end up in a good home).

I sure hope so too! I have spent c£1200 in past 4 months on it ! However with the deal I didn't loose much money and got to drive of the best cars.

However test driving the alpina it is an entirely different beast and I look forward to the drives.....

I was hoping to take the s2k to the south of France but will probably get another in a few years but a facelift as a fun car when I have to be more sensible.
