Dixon has always been spot on with delivering me parts for the car, even dropped things off in London.

I've not been there for any work for a long time though. Hopefully once the new place is open things will improve for those not finding good service.

He's a busy guy and spreads himself quite thin and relies on Chris (mechanic) in the background...

PS I believe he's away until 24th.

The way I see it, if you have the time to take money from people then you should have the time to follow up with your end of the transaction, that's how simple it is.

I don't care how you try to justify it what he did to me was simply just wrong, I will not use the guy again and I will certainly recommend to others that they don't use him either.

The worst part is he is a forum sponsor and you would expect, like I did, that that means he provides a good service.

I got a paypal refund this morning which won't be cleared for another seven days, which means I will have been without my money for a total of three weeks! No apology, no explanation, nothing. So you know what that means, he hadn't even tried to send me the part, which he promised would get to me before my rolling road session.

if your moving prem, as i know (from a close friend in the car tuning biz), you need to stop service, or take orders but not collect money. people appreciate honesty and service, even if they are without a product. put a message on the answerphone, they shouldnt be overstretching themselves and in doing so, getting a bad reputation. get the move out the way, dedicate a week to it and get back to normal trading asap.

i havent bought anything from dms purely due not needing anything that can only be bought from them, (i will 9 times out of 10 use my friend whose in the trade) and also so desperately that i need to spend a the premium on anything that they stock seems to demand.

i have met dixon at a run, and i thought he was fine! everyone gets some bad press sometimes.

this was meant as a perspective post as i havent had any financial dealings with him, its a real shame its gone to this tbh, but sometimes you have to voice your grievances on the interwebz...

Really sorry about the mess, I thought I could take sometime and get the decat out for you but I couldn't at the end as there was a lot more work then I was expected to do for the move.

I hasn't been on Internet or checking email much in the last few days but I have done the refund via paypal so you should have your money back soon for your decat.

We have been in a bit of a mess in the last few months so I have reshuffle the responsibity to each of us again to make sure we can run the business as smooth and efficient as possible in the future

Once the moved been done and we will back to normal business. After that I will mainly focus in dealing with parts and booking cars in, garage side I have pass most responsibility to my staff.

I am at the Ring and Spa until Thursday next week so I won't be around much. Emailed or Pm will reply when I possibly can, if not I will get it deal with on my return.

Once again I apologize for all the trouble that I caused recently.

Dixon

Nice post Dixon. Good to see someone not using every excuse possible and holding their hands up to failures.

Hope you get everything straitened up soon buddy and back to normal service!

I've given Dixon 7 days to sort things out, or his Trader status gets removed.
