Default Water leak into boot

Ive got a water leak into the boot. I'm aware of the vent seal from the rear bumper that needs re-sealing, I'm also aware that the rear light clusters need re-sealing.

There is another leak which appears to come from the boot lid bracketry which is the square section hollow brackets. Does anybody have any suggestions?

Thanks

Dave Stephens

Roofs can leak from above, around the edge of the fabric roof.

These leaks sometimes happen after attempts to ream the dust and tiny leaves out the little drain hoses with a sharp wire. There are past posts describing a safer way to clean the drains. Also possible when in-expertly installing a new roof.

Remove the 2 small plastic trim pieces between the boot hinge line and hood and seal the panel joint in there with Captain Tolley's Creeping Crack Cure or whatever else you might prefer.......silicone rubber etc. There's quite a lot of info on here about it. Captain Tolley's is brilliant stuff.

Above are good suggestions

Roof drain can overflow if part blocked, that usually affects arches though

Also condensation can be an issue, put a dry bag in there in winter
