Thumbs up Weird, hard lumps

Hi Guys,

Got my S about 2 months ago or so and keeping in clean and just got the hard top off last week to start enjoying the sunshine.

It's done a few miles so has some stone chips on the front as you would expect but there's also quite a few weird looking things stuck to the paint that's pretty hard and I've tried to get them off with Intensive tar remover from Autoglym but no joy. They scrape off with finger nail if they are already loose.

any help with what they are how to get rid? These are some really close in photos:

You could try a claybar on them. Might do the trick.

Those will be tar spots, usually caused by fresh or hot tarmac, a good polish usually does the trick.

Fairy Liquid

Gaybar

Cleaner

Polish

Wax

Collapse with a beer.

PS - a random orbital polisher makes the above a lot less exhausting and teeeedious.

Failing that, sell it and get a new one

If it is tar soak with white spirit, wipe off gently, wash it off and repolish!
