The hardest part of this is going be deciding which way to go!
I'd originally rulled out the koni sports because the likehood is I'd have them set at the software level anyway, I was thinking more of the koni srt shocks with lowering springs, but after reading round on here I'm thinking koni sports again!
Does spring performance reduce with age/mileage?

I agree with this but suggest CR/Type S dampers and anti-roll bar as well.

AST makes a really nice kit but a little pricey.

Spring performance depends on manufacturer.

Both spring rates and damper rates will suffer with age.

As you are lower milage, dampers generally will be ok combine this with a spring that is developed to work with those damper settings and give a sportier ride height and feel without a roughride and yyou have a win win....

Go for the Koni adjustable, great road damper with a trusted name. The adjustability helps you tune the over / understeer

As Si2K said.

My installation also includes lowering springs.

The sports/racing specialist who set up suspension set front Konis on lower height setting and rear at upper setting. Handling is FANTASTIC!

I've done loads of searching and the only thing I've learnt for sure is that you can spend a lot of money and make things worse if you're not carefull. As I still have no idea what to do, for now I'm going to get the bushes sorted and a good geo, then take it from there. In the mean time I'll keep my eyes open for a set of low miles oem suspension.
On the plus side, it sailed through its mot yesterday and is back on the road for the summer. On the down-side, the handling is harsher and more wayward than I remember from last year. I'm fairly sure that I could hussle my rep-mobile 320d company car through corners faster and with more confidence, something has to be done..
