Default Whining/ blowing sound

Hi all, i had my engine replaced recently and engine management light came on, had it diagnosed, had Engine coolant temperature sensor problem and catalyic converter issues.
Sensor was replaced with the one on the old motor , job done! When we re-diagnosed the car, no errors at all, the Cataylic converter error didnt show. So we deleted the code,no engine management light.
But my dad did say get the cat checked.
After 2 weeks ,yesterday my engine management light pops up.
Engine feels sweet, oil ok, but when i apply the accelerator pedal (going a bit fast) and let go, I hear a whining, like same sound of wind blowing across the hole of a glass bottle (that fluting sound), anyone think problem has to do with exhaust/cat resulting in engine light to show?

Advice much appreciated

Could be a blowing exhaust or gasket; or even a collapsing cat.

Something may be causing an O2 sensor to get an out-of-range reading.

Need to know precisely what the error code is first.
