Windscreen Washers
If your car is old, the pipes/NRV & stuff may be full of mildew and other stuff.
If they look black inside, rip the whole lot out & soak through on hot water.
You might have to run the pump with the reservoir filled with warm water a couple of times too, before it works properly.

As jsh said the jazz washers aren't colour coded, I've got a silverstone so black will go OK.
I've had the same in two S2000's - both times it was the inline valves which sit just before the L bend leading to the jets (under the bonnet).
Can pick them up Halfords for less than a couple of quid each:

Be careful though - I've bought a total of 4, and 2 of those didn't work, so a bit of trail and error may be in order (and keep the receipt if you need to swap em!)

Thanks for all the advice.
Stripped down the hoses and the jets and gave them a good clean which seems to have sorted it out. The metal ball bearing at the end of the passenger hose was stuck in the closed position. I think this is something that will happen again so will just need to keep an eye on it!
