Default Clear bra recommendations?

Anyone have any clear bra recommendations? An installer?... Brand?...Tips? Full or partial?

I'm thinking of having this done since I'm so anal about the s. I'd like to say goodbye to rock chips. Ive found a guy that will do a partial for $600 and it comes with a lifetime warranty. I believe he uses venture. $1200 for a full.

Another guy uses 3M and is charging $550 with a 4 year warranty I believe for the partial.

Any thoughts? I've heard the 3M has more "orange peel" to it.

Anyone like to have their car done too? Maybe we could get a lower rate for multiple cars.

http://www.body-skins.com/

Did my GF's 2011 Camaro (twice) and both times it looks great. We had it installed for delivery and after the nose was replaced due to a deer encounter a few days later

3M material with warranty. You don't see much orange peel texture but her car is a dark metallic blue. We are happy with it.

I believe it was 500 for a pre-cut front mask with side mirrors. Didn't go up the hood or fenders.

I had my last car done. The whole front bumper, half of the hood, and fenders. The headlights, rocker panels and side mirrors. Also an area behind both the front AND rear wheels. He really took his time and did a phenomenal job. I was VERY impressed.

His name is Brian with "A Clear Choice." His number is 630-615-8732

Another for Rick at Body Skins. He did my S2000 in 2007 and my G37 last year.

A friend of mine got his CR done...but he's not entirely happy with it. I avoided getting one, as I was concerned about uneven paint-fade. Do you notice that? I ask because it stands to reason that the paint under the bra would fade at a different rate than the paint on the rest of the car that is under direct sunlight.

Thoughts?

Hmm, both guys seem great...Brian or Rick. I do know that A&L in palatine refers their customers to Brian, so thats what I'm currently leaning towards as he does provide a lifetime warranty.

I am a little worried about the color change with the paint though. it might be worthwhile to get the full, but I don't know if I can spend $1200.

I've also heard that the venture scratches fairly easily.

I just got done talking with another member who has been installing clear bras for the last 7 years and has worked with all the major brands. He is currently installing a flat white vinyl on his s as seen in the gallery section. He recommended 3m because of the overall quality.

He also advised to find an installer that will custom cover the nose using the bulk wrap as opposed to the pre cut kits. This will give less lines and better coverage, as the kits leave various unprotected gaps.

Damn. Wouldn't it be cheap to repaint the front bumper every few years?
