Ok. I have never seen the FWT DVD. Also, for the record luder94 (Urmil) is a close friend of mine. All of you that know me or have met me know that I speak my mind and could careless what anyone thinks. If you dont like what I have to say and want to flame me I DONT CARE (AT ALL). Now that we got that straight lets proceed to the real underlying issues creating this anomosity...

Joe, I take some personal offense particularly to the comment I quoted from you. It is also part of the emotion you are feeling from Urmil. The fact that you posted this kind of pisses me off...especially the "over budget" part.

Just to give everyone some of my background related to the FWT I helped Joe with sponsor participation. I volunteered to help in the most part due to my excitement for the IDEA of a midwest event. I had no expectation of financial gain or reimbursement for my time. I just wanted to meet some other members and s2k enthusiasts, make some new friends, and enjoy a common interest. Overall I got my money's worth and I thought the FWT was a HUGE success!!! With that being said let me share some other information that I found out later.

For those who attended the event I am sure you can remember the "raffle" at the dinner on Saturday night. I was somewhat disappointed that this happened since I was responsible for two of the larger giveaways. I couldnt understand how prizes that were donated for the event had to be raffled??? I thought people had paid an initial event fee that was all inclusive...including the prizes that were donated. Well I found out later as we were leaving the event that Joe King had used funds intended for the event to pay for his hotel room. I really didnt have an issue with this as he had alot of time and effort in organizing the FWT. What DID REALLY bother me was that he had paid for hotel rooms (and I believe alcohol) for some of his friends on Friday night....friends not even associated with this board.

So I ask you Joe, did you really want to give back to those involved? I was involved and got nothing "back"...I didnt expect anything "back". But lets come clean about the over budget part. I think this combined with the fact that you shamelessly plug every thread in the UMW forum about your DVD in which you have financial interest are the real issues.

Just my .02

This is not the lets call out thread. Many people felt in many ways unsettled about the FWT, problems with finacial planning. I had some major issues with some of the stuff, including the cluster f*ck driving schedules where a majority of people just take off, leave others behind because they want to drive like fuc*ing retards, and mainly the chicago crew was guilty of it. The word "caravan" meant nothing, but, this is not the place to get personal.

Use these concerns and talk about them in the planning of the next event.

Now you guys are being babies.

There are some major cliques in the Chicago region, and all this thread is showing is the egos and cliques battling.

Why don't you guys take it to the phone. Because, typing this shit out is a waste of time. You would never get in as many words in person or on the phone.

It drives this community further apart.

To clear up financial planning. I mean use the problems with the 04 tour to improve the 05 version.

Lessons learned, nothing personal.

Oh... and "MY" DVD... get your head out of your ass Charlie... I'm serious... I've never been so pissed about a post in my life...

THE PROMOTION WAS TO HELP JEFF COVER HIS COSTS!! HE BARELY SOLD 50 DVD'S... HE BARELY RECOUPED HIS EXPENSES FOR GOING!!

I had no interests or profits in him before Fall Colors. I... unlike apparently you... am a good friend... and CHOSE to bust my ass to help him as MUCH as I could! He spend ing WEEKS, actually close to months editing done almost 100 HOURS of footage into that DVD! I never expected him to do it for free, nor would I ever DREAM of asking him to do so! I did not know Jeff before the FWT! I did the loan for his first house!!!!! I found out what he did, and approached him to do the shoot! I solicited his business and needed to ensure it was worth his while!

So know, I'm going to be called out for helping a newly aquired freind ing succeed...

you really are something else Charlie...

No... it isn't... not personal at all... Brian and I learned from our mistakes...

but to have some ass call me out and make false accusations with no backing whatsoever... especially when I could disprove the hell out of his aligations...

....that.... that alone is personal.

I know it is D... but if Charlie is bold enough to make such ed up aligations... then he should be bold enouch to back it up with a little evidence or something... I'm just eager to see if he can back it up!

I would also like to know what I ever did to Charlie to have him make up such ... I just guess you can never trust certain people...

Next year I'll be attending as many events as I can.

I would really liked to have gone to fall colors but starting a new job got in the way.
