I got a good look at Mitmak's (Matt) plume of blue smoke through 10, at first I thought he had blown the motor and than I realized this is what I have read about so often on S2KI.

I also headed out a bit early and stopped to say my goodbyes. Before I could escape I was treated to a ride with Cody in the LoveFab NSX. It was an awesome experience that put a big grin on my face. He sure can control a car thru the turns.

Is it a matter of getting an oil catch can?

Yeah, I think I need one.

I don't know why, but it seems to me that the first day, I'm smokeless, but the second day on the hard right handers even my AP2 blows clouds of oil. I'm wondering if too rapid a cool down could somehow contribute? I'm wondering if I need to drive the car around town between the first and second day to cool her down more slowly. I don't seem to have any issues at a one day event. At least I've never noticed it on the first day or on a one day event. I didn't drive the car at all between the final session on Saturday and the first session on Sunday. Maybe that's a mistake.

...or, maybe I just drive faster day two?

I was smoking the first two sessions. After that I didn't smoke at all. Checked oil and it seemed fine. I went through a half a quart the whole weekend. It was kinda scary seeing all the smoke in my rearview though. At first i thought i was just spinning the inside rear tire.

Not so sure about those Krank Vents Phill, I'm seeing lots of mixed info out there, and I really can't visualize them preventing the problem in my own mind. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showt...&#entry18433434

As for a catch can install, I think location would be easy in my case as '06+ have DBR and thus don't have the cruise control module; so, that location can be used as the mounting location. See, e.g., http://www.gotuning.com/product_info.php?m...products_id=231

I was at Gingerman on Friday. Wis I would have stuck around to see all the S2Ks.

Here's one of my laps.

Thanks for posting that the-moss! I was curious about how my times this weekend compared to other S2000's. And I compare surprisingly well. My best two were a 1:53.621 and a 1:53.791. Of course I set my times on the second day. I'm sure you'd gain a few more seconds if you had a second day. Here is the link to the runs:
