Not sure, it's cheap to do though. I've read various threads where Billman250, a NY mechanic, recommends trying this first. What do you have to lose?

hi i would do both unit because,both piece has the same amount of wear and tear.if one leaking the other would follow soon.Good luck.

i got both replaced at a tranny shop.. they charged me $150 for the part.. $300 for labour.
