17" or 18"?
IMO the biggest difference maker is the weight of the wheel tire combo.
One of the car mags, track tested a ap1 and ap2 on their stock rims. the Ap2 was faster, they swapped rims and the ap1 was faster.
their conclusion was 17" weighed less and had shorter sidewalls...
But on the street, it's all based on looks!

Z-Dan: Pirelli P-Zero Nero 235, 240s used strictly on the street. I'd enjoy an opportunity to track it at Lime Rock. That would be a hoot, but with your experience, my bet is I wouldn't be close. I agree the "super low profiles" are a waste of time, but for STREET, handling and appearance, 18s are the way to go.
8-Ball: F1 uses 13 inchers because it's in the RULES, not because of any handling advantages.

im the newby in this forum but im not new to hondas.. I personally have 18 inch work meister s1's on my car.. On all the race and street use s2000s in the best motoring videos, EVERY s2000 tested from js to amuse, ALL of them had 17x9s all the way around thus proving that when it comes to tracking s2000s 17 inch wheels are the way to go. I love the way my car handles on18s but whenever i hit a small bump in the road my s shakes like a homosexual holding a raw hot dog... Imagine that for a second....lol.. 17s win on the track when it comes to all aspects.. And there is my 2 cents.. Happy new year..
