The other alternative is the max sizes for the Forgestar F14s

18x9.5 + 60mm for front
18x11 + 55mm for rear

I'm thinking a 18x11 + 55 w/ a 285 tire will not fit in the rear... The other option is 18x12 + 68mm which I don't think makes any difference since the extra 1" width takes from the offset change.

Neither the 11 +55 or the 12 +68 will fit. The +55 wont clear the outside and the 12 +68 wont clear the inside or the outside. The 9.5 +60 will work up front and rear. I wouldnt run a 285 with a 9.5 though. 265 yes. 11 +63 as you mentioned before would be ideal. Or something very close to that offset.

You can get the 18x12 size with offsets from 18×12 offsets from +36 to +68... So maybe a +61mm on the 18x12 size?

however... is a 12" wide wheel too wide for a 285 tire?

Its too wide for a 285 but also the rim is too wide for the fender opening. 12.5" is all the room there is with rolled fenders to the inner shock tower. The wheel cambers in under suspension compression so you have to account for enough leeway there or it hits the inside, even less room if your lowered. 11.5" is the max you can cram in there ive discovered and have a functional driving car, and its such a finite fitment I wont recommend it. There is no reason to run that width if your looking at a 295/30/18 or less anyway.

This is the closest image I can find of the CF5 on a roadster...

It doesn't look too bad...

Cheers, I saw your email but I couldn't figure out how to respond to it lol. I planned on running the same specs as 1nate7 does on his CCW's. They are aggressive but conservative you could say. If I do go 18's, these are the wheels I plan on getting. I love 5 spokes and for the longest planned on getting ap2v3's until I saw their weight. The only thing that scares me about the Forgestars cf5's is that I can't find many good pictures showing how concave the "deep concave" face is. But either way, you can't go wrong with 5 spokes in all honesty.

I was looking at these same wheels but really just dont care for the look all that much! Thats just my opinion. I like the CF10's alot but of course they dont make them in our size's.

Looks like a fellow s2ki forum member pulled the trigger on the CF5.
