Default new wheels = lots of terrible sounds

i was running ASA AR1's, 17x7 +48 fronts and 17x8 +45 rears with kuhmo mx's 215/45 and 245/40

i've now put on some work emotioin xd9's that are 17x7.5 and 17x8.5 with the same tires and every hard bump i go over i'm hearing bad scraping sounds from the rear.

i've heard these same sounds only 2 or 3 times while the ASA's were on the car, when hitting a hard bump with the weight of a passenger in the car

i'm not sure on the offset of the new wheels, i ordered them from evasive i'm gonna try to contact them monday and try to find out.

i'm lowered 1 inch with tein springs and stock dampers

any help/info much appreciated, pretty confused here

I would check the offsets of the wheels. Anything lower than the ASA's and you are going to have some rubbing. You can try rolling the fender lips and more negative camber if they are rubbing.

Check your alighnment. Ive seen people trade wheels and be different sizes and stuff and have alighnmeny issues. It causes the tires to skip patter/tread mainly on the inside of the tires and the front. Look at the front inside and see if you see a pattern in the wear

The XD's are +42 front and rear. You have a wider rim with less offset. Not surprising they rub.

crap that sucks. so getting the fenders rolled will fix it? or will i also need to adjust my rear camber or alignment?

they've only been on a few days so i don't think i'll be able to notice any wierd tread wear for awhile

Roll the fender and have some more negative camber dialed in. You might need > -2.0 to -2.5 deg

You are going to want to re-locate your rear bumper tab as well as rolling your fenders. I bet you are rubbing on that as well.
