which tires last the longest milage wise

What model year are you getting? If you go with MY 00-03 with 16" wheels, then the Hankook RS2 is another option that I've read some positve review about on this site as a solid performer for its remarkably low price. I was considering them until I discovered they aren't available in the correct sizes for MY '04-'05.
I went with the Kumho MX and a good alignment. Don't skip the alignment - easiest way to burn through tires is a misaligned car. (Okay, "inadvertantly" wear tires. Burn-outs, drifting and track days come to mind...)
Good luck.
Chris.

My Pilot Sport 2's have about 7000 miles on them. They are not even close to the wear bars yet. I've even put more than 100 track miles on this set.
I'm very satisfied by the performance and durability of these tires. They're not cheap, though.

Fix the alignment on the car and most tires will last 25% longer. Take a look at the Fuzion for the money. You get Bridgestone technology, longer tread life and a lot less money.
If I can help let me know.
