Ah, that's a pretty ignorant blanket statement .........

You ever seen 18" LM's on an S2000? yeah, go to bed!

I have RG-R's on my S2000 and LM's on my M3 and none of them rub. In fact, they fit perfectly, don't stick out and no rubbage.
Dude, chill out! I didn't say they rub. I said the offset for the 18" LM's are not ideal for the S! This is a S2KI forums. We're discussing ultra hi-ends wheels for the S... I could care rats ass about your M3...Anyway have a nice day!!!

CCWs use a softer alloy (not T6061) for their outter rim hoops which is why it's not recommended for the street. Kodiaks use T6061 for their rim hoops, but those are made thinner for weight savings. For Kinesis, Fikse, and Forgeline, the ones you buy for the street are the same ones the other guy buys for the track, so yes, they ARE race proven. And that does matter to me because simulations can only go so far in predicting the outcome from a multitude of variables, but a sim can never predict everything (too many variables). Track testing shows whether their sims were correct and either proves out their design or forces them to correct any issues that arise from the stress of track use. Also, Kinesis, Fikse, and Forgeline use thicker outter rim hoops for the strength needed to deal w/ street use (pot holes) (w/ the exception of the Forgeline ZX3-R which uses a thinner, lighter inner rim hoop).
