How much would I have to roll and its not the rolling I'm worried about, it was just something that I didnt want to do and find out I could have been fine without it. The big issue I don't want to do is relocate the tabs though. There just arent enough body shops in WI that I think would do quality work on the fenders.

 

Try to find someone who specializes in rolling fenders. The rear fender tab sticks out just as far as the fender lip, a roll won't do any good unless you relocate that tab. It wouldn't have to be rolled "flat" though, just enough to give it a slight angle if that makes sense. With a marginal fitment like we are talking about then just trimming a little off the inside would work also.

Trust me, it's worse when you think you didn't need a roll and then your fenders get all jacked up - it happens all the time.

 

Relocating the tabs is the easiest part of this entire thing. It's literally just putting a screw in and hammering the current tab out of the way. I agree you need to find someone that knows what they are going because it sounds like you don't really know what entailed.

Basically any wheels that aren't stock offsets need a roll and even with stock offsets if you are really low or plan on being low then you should still roll the fenders. I have seen stock wheels damage fenders in the right situation.

 

Thanks for the info guys! I have plenty of time to do my research, I'll be fine with my ap2 wheels for now and it will be a while until I decide to get a drop let alone new wheels. As always, much appreciated.

 

I'm about to purchase an LS1 swapped S2K so I need the widest possible rear wheel with the most meat possible.

Recommendations? Has anyone fit a 10" or 11" wide while with stock fenders?

Yes for the rears you can do a max of/

11"+65 295/30/18. Requires fender roll or cut and tab relocate.

10.5" +72 285/30/18 Stock non modded fenders.

Your ride height and camber alignment are going to bear some influence on slight inner or outer rubbing.
