Wheel Fitment Guide
Bare with me guys, I never had fitment issues before...(used to drive a civic)
Ok so I have a question about some work VS-XXs.
According to the guide on page 1 these would not fit properly ?? but only by 1mm ?? Car is stock height AP1.
front 17x8 +47
rear 17x9 +47
Or I can buy them in
front 18x8 +50
rear 18x9 +50
Please let me know which ones would work best (if either or not at all)
Also what size tire would I need to run with that.
And if anyone knows, is $1600 (for 17's) and $1800 (for 18's) sound like a good price (without tires)? They're slightly used, but in like new condition.

Don't worry about 1mm. Every car is a little different and 1mm is a very small number. With a 47 offset front and rear you could run a 215 front and 245 rear, maybe even a 255 rear. A 50 offset won't buy you a whole lot more since it's only 3mm, but a 255 in the rear should have no issues. You might even be able to get a 225 on the front with a 50 offset.

People have done various modifications to make wheels like that "fit". But unless you are willing to alter the fenders, no, they won't fit. The offsets are too low.
Sorry for my lack of wheel fitment knowledge, but would Wedsports TC105 17x8 and 17x9 with +49 offsets fit no problem without any fender/camber modifications?
Seems like it would be okay from the first page, but I want to make sure.
Thanks.

Yes. 5x114.3.
Your question is too open ended. You need to tell us more about how you plan to use your car. The stock AP2 wheel and tire sizes are the best compromise for 95% of the population. If you want to lower your car, you will need to be careful about offsets. The S2000 requires higher offsets than most cars, and staggered fitment, so you can't just surf eBay and find some civic wheels and throw them on. The first post of this thread outlines the minimum offsets needed on this car to avoid rubbing at stock ride height. If you plan to reduce the ride height, you may want to increase those minimums a bit. If you do some searching on the forums you will find lots of people who have lowered their cars and have aftermarket wheels and can give examples of what fits.
