The front will very likely rub. And stick out a little. Be careful... if they are new, you may not be able to return them if you try them out for fitment.

Good luck.

I can't really answer that question. Yes, you can roll your fenders maybe. I don't have experience with that. Others will tell you to add negative camber, but I don't condone that approach. At that point you may compromise handling, tire wear, etc., just to make a set of wheels fit, and I don't see the point. Runnig a 205 in front is probably your safest bet. That way you keep the factory stagger as well, which is a good thing for the S2000 IMO.

Cheers,

I'm very new here and have a question want to ask all the expert here. Hope you guys can give me an answer.

I want to buy a set of second hand rims and tires, those numbers are:
MOMO X1 wheels
Size: 17" x 7 / 5 x 114 / +45mm
Tires: 235/45/17

Are those number fit the 2001 Honda S2000?
Although the S2000 front and rear rims is different sizes, can I still put the same size rims to the front and rear?

THANKS!!!!!!!

the wheels I'm looking at, it looks like the guy staggered the tire on the rear wheel, the tire, extends beyond the edge of the wheel, is this bad?

I'm thinking about getting rims in the near future but it's not easy to find exact specs for OEM specs for offset. I'm starting to understand this offset stuff but still confused. I plan to get 17 x 7.0 215 fronts and 17x 8.5 245 rears. However I don't understand the offset business and I'm scared of rubbing. Currently the car is on AP2 v2s and front from fender to tire is about 3 fingers and rear is 2 fingers. I'm not sure how many inches it was dropped because I bought it dropped already. Thanks for any input.

All the info you need is in the first post. Look at the tire width you plan to use and read off the corresponding offset. Report back here if you need more help.

S2000 model year wheel interchangeability

I have an 08 CR and need some winter wheels.
Are the wheels of an S2000 interchangeable from model year to model year?

I am planning on picking up a set of ap1's and putting winter tires on them to use on my 08. Is this possible?

Thanks
