^I think you mean the former makes sense. I am certain you have the 8.5/9.5 combo. This is what I have seen on alot of s2000's. Does your rear stick out past the fender or sit really flush?

Dude, I am uncomfortable you asking about my rear....

The rim is outside the fender on both the front and rear, the tire tread is flush.

Just recently picked up a set of 17x7.5 17x8.5 Volks in a +40 offset all around. Based on the chart I am assumming that a 215/45/17 tire in the front will be pushing it with 245/45/17 rears. The tires I am looking into are Falken Azenis. Has anyone had any issues with a setup similar to the ones I have on an AP2? Thanks!

I'm thinking about picking up a set of Volk LE37's, but the tires that come with them are 225/40/18 and 225/45/18...
the wheels are 18x7.5" +48 in front and 18x8.5" +50 in the rear.

I think the front tire size is good, but would a 255/40/18 or 255/35/18 be better for the rears?

Yes, a 255 would seem to work better there. Not sure about the offset though, I'm not at home right now to confirm. I think it should be 35, but you should double check.

I was wondering what tire size should I run if I am running SSR SP1's 18x8 +40 in the front and 18x9 +62 in the rear. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Look at what I wrote above.

Anything wider than 205 on the front is likely to rub. 40 is a very low offset for a S2000. You can roll or pull the fenders to get more clearance, but personally, I would find a wheel with a higher offset. The ones you have chosen for the rear are fine. You have a 62 offset which meets the requirement of a 275 tire on the rear, so a 255 would work too.

Cheers,
Ken
