With 17x8 +45 up front and 17x9 +45 in the back am I correct in assuming that when lowered I will need to roll the fenders and tab relocate in the front only?

It's been hard to find a set of wheels I like and in my price range...but I think I have found them, but I'm getting contradicting info on whether it will fit!

Wheels: Advanti Bello 18x8 all corners. +45 Offset 5x 114.3
http://www.carid.com/advanti-wheels/...k-9135545.html

Tires: 225/40/18 FRONT 255/35/18 BACK.

My car is stock height 2006 MY.

On the website, CARID.COM these wheels show up as a guaranteed fit. However a local shop told me it won't fit and secondly for the rim size the original post in this thread recommends a higher offset.

My questions: 1) Will these rims fit without rubbing or any other issues? 2) Will it be okay to stagger the tires with non-staggered rims ( I'm sure this is up for debate?
3) What do all you S2000 guru's think about these wheels??

Thanks all!
1) yes, at stock ride height. 2) yeah people do it all the time. that being said a 255 is gonna be pinched on a 8 inch wide wheel. you should run 245 rear if you stick with 8j. 3) i think it will be ok for the front, you need a wider rear wheel. that 8j is a down grade from your 8.5j. see if they make that wheel in 9 inch wide. (looks like they don't) i'd find different wheels. 18"s also look goody at stock ride height. you should look at 17"s

the wheels are Enkei NT03+M
and what the tire setup should be.
thanks
on the front you will have to do a full roll, and liner trim slightly. maybe a slight pull. depending on what tire you run. wouldn't recommend you start at 255, look for 225 front. makes for safer fitment.

rear you need roll, and tab relocate. more camber than stock. i'd start at 245 there and work your way up. 255 could be a lot more work.

this will look awful with out a drop. 4x4 status as it is often called. the rear is a pretty wheel. the fronts are ehhh but i wouldn't want to run the 9.5+40 all around either.

for info, i have all the fender work listed above, and tried to fit 245 8.5+35 front and noooooo way was it clearing at the ride height i was at. and i didn't want to raise my car either. the rear i tried the same 9.5+40 with a 265 and again, nooooo way with stock body work at my 17" ride height. 225/245 is the place to start. not 245/265 lol

for function and form.
awesome wheel! i'd would recommend the 225/45 first, it will be more easier to fit. you can always step up to 235 later. the rear is a little tall, you should run 245/40 i believe. you may wanna see what other people have run before.

No, you can't fit 255 up front. biggest id run on a 7.5j is a 225. 235 is really pushing it and it looks pinched slightly. you don't list the offsets so i can't say much more than i run 7.5+35 up front with a 215, may step up to a 225.

tab relocate is only on the rear. when you get your fenders rolled you should be rolling the liner tabs as well. the tab refers to the rear bumper tab, one spot where it attached to the car. you just remove it and get a bolt and attach it further back. i'd roll the back just for more tire size options in the future (255)

Fitment question. Given my research I think they will fit, but I really don't want to have to modify my fenders if I can help it.

I'm looking at Work XD9s in 17x7.5 and 17x8.5, +42 all the way around. Tires would be Continental ExtremeContact DWs in 215/45 and 245/40. Stock ride height and no plans to lower it. Any issues with rubbing on those?

Thanks!

No roll needed but a 225/45 would be a better option since the 235 will be to tall of a tire.

Hey guys just wondering if I should go 215/45/r17 on my 17x8 45 RPF1's and 255/40/r17 on my 17x9 45? Or 225/45/r17 255/40r17? dropped less then an inch. Direzza z11

Thanks Dennis

Edit: 225/45 & 255/40 is the route I'm going.

Any chance on fitting 18x10+56 with a 255/35/18 in the rear without a fender roll?

Would be low but would max out rear camber, maybe -3 which should help.

Hello everyone! So I am looking to pick up my favorite wheels, TE 37 SL black edition. However, only 17x9 +45 is available.. First of all, I am hesitant to even run a square setup. Second of all, is it even possible to fit this, lowered 1 inch with minimal camber (under -2) with a 255/40 rear and 225/45? front? Thanks!!!

hey guys
ive finally got myself an s2000 after breaking my k20 ek

anyway ive got a set of te37
17x 7.5 +30 fronts bridgestone re11 215/40
17 x 8.5 + 40 rears bridgestones re11 235/40

currently dropped on coilovers and rear fenders have been rolled, fronts are ASM

it still rubs on the back atm, i imagine it will be the bumper tab causing this?

when the tyres are due a change im thinking about going to 235/40 255/40 RSR
im just concerned about any possible rubbing as it does already on the 235 re11

opinions?

Definately the bumper tab in this case. Follow this.
