Hello,

I was thinking of buying a set of 17x9 +45 Enkei RPF1s, but I'm still confused whether I should get something less flush ( like 17x8 +45) for the front. My S2000 is quite old and I'm afraid of doing excessive fender work as it might cause my paint to crack. Rear fenders should be easier to deal with, am i correct?

17x8 +45 just doesn't look quite as good.

I'm new to S2000's and have a set of VSXX's that I'd like to use for my AP1 since I got it with bald tires and wheels I'm not fond of.

(4) 18x8.5 +35

I was wondering what staggered tire setup would be recommended? The car is lowered 1.5"

My fenders are already rolled and I'm willing to do some pulling to reduce camber.

Any help is appreciated!
yeah you should be able to run those. i'd run nonstaggered though, 245 4x. you could do 245 front 255 rear. or 235 front. 255 on a 8.5+35 could rub if you have a very mild alignment. that being said, you shouldn't have an pulling to do. personally, if i had wheels that spec laying around 245 all around with a 5mm or 3mm spacer out back to make it look as aggressive as the front. 255 fit fat on 8.5j

tons of people run 9+45 all around with minimal fender work up front. it is entirely dependent on your ride height. stock height you'd be fine probably, maybe rubbing on the plastic fender liner at full lock and speed.

the 9 +45 is only 'pokes' a half inch more than the 8+45. that being said, i'm not a huge fan of the same spec wheel on the s2k. IMO it helps to push out the rear a few mm (3-5mm) to make it look way better.

Front: 215/45/17X8.0 +49
Rear: 245/40/17X9.0 +49

Looking at purchasing WedsSport TC105n in those sizes with those size tires. Planning on lowering the car 1.0" - 1.25" as well. Not interested in rolling my fenders. Would -2.0 camber front and -3.0 camber rear be ok to make these fit? Is that much camber front and rear achievable with stock parts?

17x9 +54 in the rear with 255/40. Lowered 1", negative camber ~2. Okay without fender roll?

I have some Rota Torque drifts. Fronts 17x9J +35 and rears 17x9.5J +30. Pretty aggressive fitment, will this need major arch rolling or pulled arches to look right? Stock height at the moment but wouldn't mind lowering slightly in the future

I have no idea if they will fit with out rolled fenders, but they are pretty safe offsets.

I do know you will have trouble getting that much camber dialed in on an ap1. the rear typically is good for around -2.5. ap2 can get more camber in the rear. a bit of the camber you can gain over stock settings is due to the fact that most guys lower their car.

those are quite aggressive. you are going to need to roll the fenders for sure. depending on low you wanna go, you are gonna have to pull the front slightly. the rear a pull too if you are going for hella flush, which these are near.

I'd run 245 front but that probably will still be too much tire. 9.5+30 is damn aggressive. a lot of people run 9.5+40 (which is 5mm closer to the fender) with 245s because it's easiest to fit. honestly, unless you want to do body work, fender pulling, coil overs and possible roll center adjusters it easier to get wheels that fit.

Running The following Enkei PF01 setup on stock suspension.
Rear - 17x9+60 - 245/40R17
Front -17x8+50 - 215/45R17
Read through all posts and haven't found the answer I'm looking for...I'm wanting to lower it 1" and hoping not to have to roll the fenders. Will this setup work without a roll? Just looking at it, rears look like they might be fine, but not sure about the front.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

You will be fine in the back. The concern with the front is that when lowered it is easier for the fender lip to grab the tire if the suspension compresses when the wheel is turned. An example would be entering or leaving a driveway or parking lot with a steep entry. For this reason you should ideally roll the fronts anytime you lower, especially with aftermarket wheels that stick out further than stock.
